A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR ~
Dear Nief-Norf Community,
Thank you for being such a vital part of the Nief-Norf you know and love. Your support helps nurture adventurous artists, champion bold ideas, and sustain a one-of-a-kind creative community. I’m deeply honored and energized to be serving as Executive Director and guiding Nief-Norf into its next era of growth.
A big part of my mission has been making all Knoxville events free & open to the public from now on — which of course presents its own financial challenges, but ones I’m willing to take on to provide accessibility to new music within our local community.
My vision is rooted in transparency, accountability, and care. You deserve to know exactly how your generosity makes an impact, and I’m committed to ensuring you do.
Thank you for believing in this work. I can’t wait to share what’s ahead.
Yours in ‘Norf,
Alexandra Dally :)
YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS:
Your gift directly fuels the artists, programs, and community that define Nief-Norf. Donations help us:
Expand access by keeping all Knoxville events free and open to the public.
Lower tuition barriers for large programs like the Nief-Norf Summer Festival.
Sustain year-round programming — from performances and educational initiatives to new youth and community projects.
Cover essential operational needs that make everything possible, including office rent, technology, and administrative capacity.
& so much more!
Every contribution, no matter the size, strengthens our ability to serve artists and our community.
WHY SUPPORT NOW?
We know this is not the easiest moment to ask for support. Many people are feeling stretched, and the world can feel increasingly disjointed and uncertain. But it’s in times like these that the arts matter most — creating connection, grounding us in community, and offering space for curiosity, reflection, and hope.
As we celebrate Nief-Norf’s 20th anniversary, we’re looking ahead with intention and ambition. We’re committed to growing our programs, deepening our impact, and ensuring the next generation of creative risk-takers has the support they need.
This donor campaign isn’t just about funding a season — it’s about shaping the future of Nief-Norf. Your support now helps us stay resilient, accessible, and artist-driven for years to come.
Like any organization, we have year-round overhead costs to keep our operations running. I’d like to highlight the impact a monthly or annual donation of any amount can have in our long-term sustainability and planning by sharing amounts for our recurring expenses ~
