Alex Gray, Technology Assistant


Alex Gray is a composer, performer, and sound artist whose work focuses on psychoacoustics and integrating technology. Alex writes both acoustic and electronic music, creates sound installations, and performs free improvisation. Recent performances include Big Ears Festival and the International Electro-Music Festival. A frequent collaborator, he has worked on multimedia projects featured in international galleries, composed award-winning video game scores, and produced music videos of contemporary classical works. In the fall, Alex begins his MM in composition at NYU where he'll study with Julia Wolfe and Michael Gordon. He holds a BM from the University of Tennessee.
